About me
Hi! I am Emily Vandal, a passionate performer from Enfield, CT currently studying at Sacred Heart University, where I’mdouble majoring in Musical Theatre and Music. My love for performing began in kindergarten, when I took the stage as Frosty the Snowman — complete with a pillowcase costume and lipstick on my nose as a carrot. Since then, I haven’t stopped performing!
Some of my favorite recent roles include Sue Snell in Carrie, a Pit Singer in Promises, Promises, and Mrs. Gibbs in Our Town. You can find more credits on my resumé page!
I thrive on challenging roles filled with drama and emotional depth. I love stepping outside my comfort zone to bring compelling characters to life. As a performer, my goal is to draw audiences in and make them truly feel the story's emotions.
Outside of performing, I’m an avid reader (my TBR list is over 1,000 books long!), a crafter —especially origami — for every show I’m in, I make paper cranes for everyone involved in the shows to show my gratitude. I'm an archery enthusiast ever since watching The Hunger Games made me think Katniss was the coolest person ever. I’m also working on my piano skills, and have a few fun impressions up my sleeve, including a duck, Barbie, and Siri!
